Automation
Before writing, every agent reads what doesn't exist.
Instagram automation for Pebbler Studio, a small app studio with little time for social. The design problem was trust: posts that nobody has to fact-check.

- The problem
- A small app studio needed three posts a week, and AI-written posts invent features the apps don't have.
- What I built
- Two tools that draft the week's posts, make the slides and cut reels from real app footage.
- The result
- A week of drafts waits for approval every Monday, and nothing has gone out unreviewed.
How I built it
The problem
Automated content lies by default.
Ask a model to write about an app and it will describe features the app doesn't have. It isn't being malicious. It is predicting what an app like this usually does.
For a studio selling real apps, one invented feature in a post costs more than a month of silence. So the question was never how to post more. It was how to post without someone fact-checking every line.
The obvious answer
Telling it to be accurate does nothing.
The tempting fix is a longer prompt that says 'be accurate'. It doesn't work, because the model has no way of knowing which details are true.
What works is ground truth it has to read. Each app has a file of what exists, with a section headed Not built: do not claim. Every agent reads that, plus a constitution covering voice, three content pillars and visual rules, before it writes anything.
What I built
Everything lands in a queue first.
Two skills do the work. One plans and drafts the week. The other captures real app footage and cuts it into reels.
A week of posts, waiting for a human
Drafts land in a queue with their sources cited. A person approves them on Monday.
Rendered from the site's own tokens
Carousel slides at 1080x1350, built from the site's tokens so the feed looks like the brand it belongs to.
Real footage, cut on words
Playwright records the real app, a generated voiceover goes on top, and every cut lands on a word-level timestamp.
What it refuses to automate
Stories, likes and follows have no official API. Unofficial tools get accounts banned, so it doesn't try.
What is not done yet
It drafts, and a person still posts.
The plan is review-first until the voice is calibrated, then gradually hands-off.
- Nothing has been published from the queue automatically. Publishing is wired, and every post still goes out after a human approves it.
- Trending audio needs a Facebook Login token. The system has an Instagram Login token, and there is no server-side way to swap one for the other.
- The access token expires about every 60 days without warning, so the monthly refresh is still a manual step.
